Lebanon, Ind. – Hachette Book Group announced today the expansion of its Lebanon, Indiana facility bringing an estimated $20.7 million capital investment to the community. The 164,000 square foot expansion will include ancillary office space and increased employment.
The current facility, owned by a subsidiary of STAG Industrial, Inc. (NYSE: STAG), at 121 N. Enterprise Blvd. covers just over 1 million square feet. Hachette Book Group currently employs nearly 500 people. The expansion was approved January 10 by Lebanon City Council.
“The expansion of Hachette Book Group’s facility in Lebanon is a testament of our strong community development and workforce,” said Lebanon Mayor Matt Gentry. “We are excited that Hachette is continuing to succeed and invest in Lebanon.”
Hachette Book Group is a leading US trade publisher and a division of the third-largest trade and educational book publisher in the world, Hachette Livre.
The expansion is set to break ground in March 2022.
