Lebanon, Ind. – Cadence Healthcare Training Solutions held its grand opening on January 11 with help from the Boone County Economic Development Corporation (Boone EDC) microloan program. Owner Stephanie Haston received a $7,500 microloan through the Boone EDC Propel program in December that will help offset marketing and recruitment costs for the facility.

Located at 951 Monument Drive in Lebanon, the new state-of-the-art medical training facility is designed to provide the highest standard of medical training to its students. The facility houses simulated patient and resident rooms and a newly renovated classroom to provide realistic, hands-on learning experiences.

“The Boone EDC microloan program is a great resource for small business owners in Boone County seeking funds for specific projects,” said Boone EDC Entrepreneurship and Innovation Manager Claire Collett. “Over the course of 2022, the Boone EDC has awarded $54,500 to Boone County businesses to help with startup costs.”

“Our mission is to provide students with the knowledge and skills they need to provide compassionate, accountable, next-level care while fostering relationships with our community partners and the community at large,” said Stephanie Haston, Owner. “The Boone EDC microloan has helped tremendously with marketing and recruitment costs as we start engaging with the community and raising awareness on what we offer.”

The facility is equipped for CNA, CPR, AED, and First Aid training programs, with plans to expand to other trainings such as qualified medication aide (QMA), insulin administration, advanced skills for nursing assistants, and certification exam preparation for CNA/CMA/CCMA/RMA.
