Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented individual to join our team as the Vice President of Investments and Partnerships, a role that will focus on securing financial investments through fundraising and managing partner relationships. This role is pivotal in driving the growth of our organization by identifying investment/fundraising opportunities, fostering strategic partnerships, and maximizing value for our stakeholders. The ideal candidate will possess a strong track record in business development and relationship management.
Salary: Full Time | Up to $85,000 annual base salary
What you will do:
- Fundraising
- Develop and execute comprehensive investment strategy that integrates with Boone EDC initiatives
- Investor cultivation and stewardship
- Budgeting and reporting
- Special event planning
- Represent Boone EDC at events
The ideal candidate:
- Holds a bachelor’s degree or has commensurate work experience
- Experience in business development, with a proven track record of success in securing investments, donations, and/or sponsorships and managing relationships
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with investors, partners, and stakeholders
- Strategic thinker with results-oriented mindset, capable of developing and executing innovative business development strategies to achieve objectives
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
- Passion for driving growth, creating value, and making a positive impact
