Boone County’s 180 in Color initiative is seeking a talented artist to create a mural on the north side of the historic Lido Building at 124 South Lebanon Street. This $30,000 project is part of the larger 180 Makeover program, aimed at revitalizing and beautifying the community. The selected artist will be responsible for designing and painting the mural, with materials and supplies included in the fee.
Applications are due by Monday, October 28, 2024, at 12:00 pm (EDT) via email. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to Lebanon’s growing art scene and make a lasting impact.
Eligibility:
– Artists must be 18+ and reside in Central Indiana.
– Liability insurance is required, and preference may be given to Boone County artists.
Selection Process:
The Lebanon Mural Selection Committee will review submissions and choose an artist based on their experience in public art and community involvement.
