Boone County Economic Development Corporation (Boone EDC) is excited to announce that Tracey Horth Krueger has stepped in as Interim Director, bringing over 25 years of nonprofit leadership expertise to the organization. With an extensive background in guiding organizations through growth and development, Tracey is set to work closely with the Boone EDC team and Board of Directors to ensure that the organization continues to flourish, expanding on its mission to strengthen the local economy and community.
Tracey has a proven record of advancing nonprofit organizations through strategic planning, board development, and impactful program initiatives. Her career includes pivotal roles as the founding CEO of both the Indiana Coalition to End Sexual Assault and Human Trafficking and the Domestic Violence Network. She has also worked as a consultant for small to mid-sized nonprofits, focusing on everything from organizational restructuring to project development and executive coaching. Through these roles, Tracey has consistently driven measurable, mission-centered outcomes, making her uniquely equipped to guide Boone EDC through this period of transition.

In addition to her extensive experience in nonprofit leadership, Tracey serves on the Metropolitan School District of Washington Township School Board, setting policies and advocating for over 11,000 students. Her commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in educational spaces, combined with her community-centered approach, aligns seamlessly with Boone EDC’s goals of enhancing Boone County’s quality of life and economic potential.
