The Boone County Economic Development Corporation (Boone EDC) in conjunction with ZWORKS awarded Zionsville entrepreneur Maggie Daniels, founder and CEO of Try It Tiny, a membership to the zWORKS coworking space.
“Through the GROW Program, the Boone EDC awards an annual membership to zWORKS to an entrepreneur or small business owner seeking to grow and expand their operations in Boone County,” said Boone EDC Executive Director Molly Whitehead. “We are thrilled to have an enthusiastic entrepreneur like Maggie in Boone County, and we look forward to seeing the work she will accomplish with the resources zWORKS has to offer.”
zWORKS is an entrepreneurial and coworking center located in the heart of Downtown Zionsville that opened in 2015.
“Boone County is fortunate to have an economic development team that is creative about ways to ignite startups and young entrepreneurs,” said zWORKS Executive Director Kate Swanson. “We look forward to helping accelerate Maggie’s company with our programming and resources.”
Daniels, a 2008 Indiana University graduate, is the founder and CEO of Try It Tiny. Try It Tiny is a two-way marketplace that connects tiny house enthusiasts with property owners across the country.
“zWorks provides a network of like-minded individuals and an infrastructure that supports and encourages startups who are dedicated to Zionsville,” said Daniels. “Having a centralized, safe, secure and functioning place to work anytime an entrepreneur needs, makes for an efficient working environment.”
“ZWORKS has provided space, resources and support to numerous local starts-ups, many of which have graduated and are now in their next phase of growth,” said Zionsville Mayor Tim Haak. “Try It Tiny will be a perfect fit for a zWORKS membership and the Town looks forward to seeing Maggie’s business continue to expand and succeed here in Zionsville.”
