The Boone County Economic Development Corporation has announced its new slate of officers for 2018 and that Brock Hesler will serve as president of the Board of Directors in 2018. Hesler, a lifelong Boone County resident, is the director of membership for the Indiana Chamber of Commerce.
Boone EDC celebrates 1,800 new jobs committed in 2017
The Boone County Economic Development Corporation announced that 14 companies chose to expand or locate in Boone County in 2017. These companies anticipate hiring more than 1,800 people and investing more than $193 million in the community over the next few years. These deals are expected to bring a tax impact of more than $14 million.
